Immigrated to the US and lived in the Rochester, NY area where he was a shoemaker. Had brothers Johann Heinrich Gottlieb Krause, Georg Friedrich Krause, and Ernst Friedrich Wilhelm Krause. Ernest Wilhelm moved to Brown County, SD. Would like any information on this Krause family. Their father was Christian Ernst Krause, b. 1798, Thamsbrueck, Germany.
