Bertha Krause was born in Sanskow, Germany on either 12 July 1846 or 27 Feb 1855 (have found it listed both ways), she married in Chicago, Illinois on 17 Oct 1875, Carl Jahn. They moved to Charter Oak Iowa, where both died, Karl on 19 Jan 1919, and Bertha on Christmas day 1932. Had 11 children.
Any info on either her family or his would be wonderful
