Friedrich Wilhelm Krause was born Oct 29, 1859 in Saxony were he served 2 years in the German Imperial Army before he immigrated to the USA at age 22 in 1881 and settled in Wausau, Marathon County Wisconsin. Was married 4 times: 1st to Auguste Lambrecht in 1884; #2 to Bertha Pagel in 1888; #3 to Minnie Latzig Bazlen in 1908 and #4 to Irma Pfaltzer Junkermann in 1932.
He had Anna b. 1886, Herman b. 1887, Alma b. 1889, Walter b. 1893, Elmer b. 1895, and Fred W. Jr. b. 1901.
He died Sep 5, 1940.
He was a contractor who built numerous buildings in Wausau and was also an alderman for 18 years.
I am hoping to find out more about his origins.
