Nelson (D) Krause born 1909 in Spicewood, Texas

I am looking for information on Nelson Krause (possibly with D as the middle initial). He married Gladys Doughty.
around 1929.

The information that I have is that Nelson was born around 1909 in Spicewood, Texas.

According to his Great Grandson, Nelson's family traded produce and eggs and such in Austin when Nelson was a boy.
The other story was that Nelson's father came to America "illegally" from German and lived with family that was already here. But that might just be a story.

I am trying to find out who Nelson's Mother and Father were and which Krause line they fell into.

They were living in Corpus Christi in 1930, Ages Nelson 21, Gladys 19, they were married around 1929. He was a Tent Awning salesman. She lists that she was born in Arkansas.
