Looking for information on a George Kraus who appears in the Common Pleas Court Records for Franklin Co. Ohio in September, 1832, applying for a Declaration of Intent (First Papers). His place of birth is given as France. Other individuals, also from France applied at the same time: Jacob Wetzell, Jacob Anthony, Jacob Anthony Jr. and Nicholas Anthony.
Other clues indicate the the Anthony family was from Alsace.
