My Krech family is from Southeast Missouri and Northeast Arkansas. Strangely, my father's name was Alvin Frederick Krech. I am researching 'Black Dutch' as that is what I have always been told that we were. My grandfather's father came from Germany. I remember that my grandfather was tall, high cheek bones and very dark. What do you know about 'Black Dutch' and have you been told the same. Also when we went to the Holocost Museum in DC we saw the name Krech on the death lists. I have other information on my family if you are interested. I would like to hear from you as I have been told that all Krech's in the U.S. are some way related.
