Do you know where they were living at the time of their marriage?

In Botetourt County, VA, there are Graybills (originally Krehbiel) and Stovers (originally Stauffer) by the 1780s or 1790s & they are or become Dunkards (German Baptist Brethren, Church of the Brethren). A new book will be coming out on the Stovers, maybe in 2001.

Are you familiar with Lois Graybill Norris, Blue Ridges, Green Valley, and Graybills (1999)? I don't know how far back she goes, but it may be a help. I don't have access to the book but you can find it on the Lib of Cong website. www.loc.gov I think will get you there.

Good luck!
Pat
