My grandfather was William E. Krouse and he was born in Winslow Arkansas in 1902. His father William Dowe Krouse or Krause ( seems to have been a change in the spelling between those two generations) worked on the Frisco railroad. I am trying to find out where he was born, he was born in November 27, 1871, but I don't know where. He married twice, I do not know the first wife's name , but he had two children by her, Clyde Allen Krouse, and Ruth Pearl Krouse. Then his first wife died and he married Mary Melvine Cartwright on July 23,1898. They had six children between them. one of which was my grandfather. He met Mary in Arkansas and they had two children at least there. If anyone has any information I would sure appreciate it.
