Benjamin Franklin Gearhart Krouse (1832-1883)

I'm looking for information on the ancestors of Benjamin Franklin Gearhart Krouse (b. 3 Aug 1832 in White Haven, PA died 4 Mar 1883 in Sunbury, PA). He married Hannah L. Weirick on 27 Jan 1857.

Benjamin and Hannah had the following children: John, William, Francis, Ella, Julious, Ezra, Albert, Mary, Lewis, and Lizzie. I have pretty good info on these children and their descendants, but I'm having no luck back-tracking.

I have information from a family bible that his parents were a John and Susannah Krouse, but that's all I have on them.

Any help would be appreciated.
