There seems to be some discrepancies for the head of this family. Is it Henry or Harry? There is tombstone in Northend cem, Barnsboro (Northern Cambria), PA: "Harry H. Krouse, 1870-1958"; on same tombstone with, "Rose M., 1891-1946". A 1910 Census for Barnesboro shows: Henry Krouse, est b. 1873, and Catherine, wife, est b. 1868, and 6 childrn: Bertha, Henry H., Elizabeth M, Lester C., William M., and Alice. Daughter Elizabeth M. may be the same as Martha Elizabeth Krouse who married Louis ROBERT Heinrich KRAMP. The latter family is also mentioned in "A Krouse Family in America" by Thomas E. Krouse, publ 1992, of which I do NOT have a full copy. bobbykramp at yahoo. com
