I am a descendant of one of Nathaniel Krouse's sisters, Anna Krouse Christie) and have information about Nathaniel's 3 daughters; they were 1st cousin of Anna Krouse Christie's daughter Helen and often socialized with her and her husband, up through the 1960s. Later Edna and Blanche were living in the same nursing home, probably in the Pittsburgh area. Grace perhaps had already died. From your information about Nathaniel's other children it appears his only descendants would be through Grace's son, whose name, I believe, was Philip. Grace was a talented artist and I have one of her watercolors, dated 1945. I have more information on Nathaniel and his brother John. I'm looking for information about Nathaniel's and siblings' parents (Jacob?? and Anna??? MOYER Krouse) who, I believe, were originally in eastern PA (Cumberland County) where the MOYERS lived. Anna Krouse Christie was born in Mechanicsburg (Cumberland County) in 1851 and according to your information Nathaniel Krouse was born a few years later in Pittsburg(h). Somehow the family migrated to the Pittsburgh area (Allegheny County) and Butler County where in 1875 Anna Krouse married James Christie who was in the oil production industry. Perhaps you can shed some light on this and I hope we can exchange information on the family.
