I have information on a Christian Kruse that came to Texas with his mother on the same ship with my GGG grandfather Freidrich Kruse, Sr and his wife Sophie (Warnecke) Kruse. They are buried in New Braunfels, Texas.
Christian's mother was a widow and she remarried rapidly after settling in Guadlupe County. I don't have the information in front of me right now and can't remember the details. I have been trying to find a connection between Christian's father and Freidrich Kruse, Sr.
I believe that they were from the Gifhorn area of Hannover...Kaesdorf or Kesdorf??? Some information about Freidrich Kruse can be found in the new book by Wilfred Schlather on the Comal County Civil War participants. I cannot remember if Christian Kruse was listed or not. (can't put my hands on the book either)
I have not been able to find Christian's father's name. I have been wanting to find out exactly what area they are from in order to see about getting church records from Hannover but I not been able to pinpoint the location exaclty.
