Info on George Henry & Bluford Merchant Wanted

I am researching the Merchant family history for my wife (daughter of Paul Everret Merchant 1927-1995 and Barbara Jean Hamilton [living]). My research shows Paul's father was Samuel Everett Merchant (1885-1948), who was the son of George Henry Merchant (1855-1937), who I beleive was the son of Bluford Merchant who was born about 1818 in Kentucky. I believe Bluford was first married to Susan Clayton in 1837 (Missouri) and fathered 3 children (Permelia, John T., and Sarah). Bluford then married, I think, Mary Armstrong in 1852 (Missouri) and fathered an additional 5 children: Julia, Martha, George Henry, Wesley Bluford, and Mary Lucinda. I am especially interested in obtaining additional information on George Henry and his father Bluford. Sources especially helpful. Thanks in advance. Bradie
