A different spelling of LAACK?

Trying different spellings of my gr-grandfathers last name.

Emil Leyck (possisbly von/van Leyck, not sure), a watchmaker, left Prussia through the port of Berman and arrived in the USA 11 Oct. 1866. He was 23 at the time.

He would later marry a Margaretha Schmidt and live in Stapleton, Richmond County, NY till his death.

A family photo places him before he left Berman in Berlin.

This is my great Grandfather.
