I have just begun work on the Labadie line for my granddaughter. Hers were from Van Buren county, Michigan. In starting the research I have found 2 lines there. A Anthony Labaie came into Paw Paw to the Lawson Grant, Sect 22in 1836. Her brother was Williamson Mason and Anthony died in 1860.
There was also Joseph Labadie born 22 Sept 1867 to George Emerson and Eliza Scott Labodie and they were from NY and one of the first settlers. children; Joseph, Kittie, Jessee, Thomas, Grace and Lillie.
