Thank you for the information and your interest and time.

Would you happen to know if Robert H. Durphy b. 1832 and died Nov 6, 1900 had a death certificate and are the names of his parents listed? Another Durphy in Richmond VA states that his closest living relative is this Robert but does not state how they are related.

Robert H. Durphy b. 1832 married Mary Louisa Labarge in St. Louis in 1858. Mary was first married to Louis Guerette who was second pilot on the steamboat "Saluda" and died in an explosion on the river on April 9, 1852.

How Mary Labarge ever met Robert Durphy I do not know.
