Jacquelyn, I do not know if you are still doing genealog yor not. I have not heard from you in long time. I would love to hear again from you. Have done much research on the Labbe' Labbee family and have back to 1773 father of Alfred Labbee (who is the father of your William Alexander).
Alfred was married twice-Martha Reynolds was his second wife. I have more info on that family now too.
His first wife was Hannah-Anna-Anne Hodges-Hedges. The two older children of Alfred, Mary (Marie) and John B (Jean Baptiste) were by the first wife.
I also now have the parents of Alfred too.
