Bonjour Gerald,

24 Rue de la Mairee
L'Ange Gardien
Cte. Montmorency
Quebec, Qc.GOA 2

You should have no trouble finding it as people in the village will give you directions. Stop also at the small chapel on the Avenue Royale. If you go in August you might enjoy an apple from the tree in their front yard.

When last I was there, the house was still owned by Monsieur Gagnon. I had discussed with him the possibility of purchasing the house and making it a sort of Laberge Museum and a place for Laberges to stay when in Quebec (for a small fee). The cost of the house was, however, prohibitive. It may have been sold to someone else.

The Gagnons were very friendly. They gave us a complete tour of the house and explained its history. They were very good people. The reason, of course, is that they are distant cousins and in the Laberge family.
