Translation Status Report - #7-June 3, 2007
Posted by: Ronald Laberge (ID *****5253) Date: June 03, 2007 at 17:42:38
  of 2211

This report relates to the translation of Pierre-Lionel Laberge's book about Robert De La Berge - our first ancestor in New France - his life, his times and his               family.

If you have not finished your chapter(s), it would be appreciated if you would update me with an email confirming the approximate %        finished and                      when you think you might be finished.

??????????????? If you see these by your name, please email me so I know whether you are still alive. If not, there is no need to email and we will send               appropriate flowers.

Lucien Laberge has offered to do a chapter and will be assigned one this week, so please respond as soon as you can.

If you are translating solely by using Systran or Babel Fish, please let me know as these translations serve only as a first approximation of what is being               translated. It takes someone with a knowledge of French to end up with something that makes sense. Our editor is having a hard time with these
translations. If anyone would like to help with the editing, please let me know. You should know that special blessings come with editing.

If anyone needs help or has questions, feel free to contact me.
If by email send to both rhlaberge@albanymanagement.com and ri1900@hot mail.com (the hotmail will not filter you out)

If you know anyone who can help out with the translation please (please) (S'il tu plait) ask them.

Progress is slower than originally scheduled and anticipated. We have taken care of that by changing the completion date of the initial translations to        September 17. Because of that change, we are now ahead of schedule and can feel good about it. In case you wonder if I am a little crazy, I am not. I am        merely practicing to be a politician.
