Laird/Marsh circa 1890s in Tenn.

I'm looking for any connections with Allen (Allan) Laird, married Margaret Marsh in the late 1890s or early 1900s, in South West Tennessee. These are my ggrandparents on my Mother's (Bettye Jo Thomas Rhodes) side, through Conward Thomas/Minnie Pearl Laird. Records were very sketchily kept during this era in the SW Tenn. counties and I haven't been able to find anything beyond a family Bible record. Any further connections will be much appreciated.
