I can add to Hattie Metivier.
1st marriage in 1901 was to Charles VanAlstine born 26 Nov 1879 in IN, died about 1918 in MI. He was a lighthouse keeper in 1910.
Children (all born in the Mackinac area of MI):
Henry b. 5 Dec 1902, d. Nov 1971 (MI)
Clayton b. 9 Mar 1905, d. Oct 1976 (MI)
Nelson b. 1907
Frank b. 1909
*Thelma b. 19 Oct 1910, d. 14 June 1988
Josephine b. 1913
Bernard b. 18 Nov 1914, d. 27 Sep 1978 (CA)
George b. 1917
Notes: after Charles died Hattie placed the 6 youngest children up for adoption. She then married Arthur Miller. Bernard had polio and remained a ward of the state until he became an adult.
*Thelma married (30 Apr 1931) Lloyd Norton b. 17 Mar 1905 in MI, d. 29 May 1991. They had four children, all of whom are living. I don't feel comfortable posting my living relative's infomation. Thelma and Lloyd are my grandparents.
I'm hoping a relative can provide some more info. I'll post it when I hear from him. Where are you at in the family tree?
