I am searching for any info about my grandmother's father Francis Larose of Cohoes, NY. My grandmother, Madeline May Larose, was born in Cohoes in 1899. Her baptism certificate from Sacred Heart Church lists her parents as Francis Larose and Clara Smith.

I am trying to find Francis' parents. I also know that Larose is often a dit name so I would like to find his real surname. I am trying to trace my grandmother's family back to Canada and then to France.
