I've seen previous posts for this subject, but nothing recent.
I'm trying to find the connection to Nancy Day b. abt 1789 and William Alexander (Aley) Ledford Sr b. 2 may 1789 North Carolina, d. 24 apr 1873 Cranks Creek, Kentucky. Does anyone have any updated information?
Also in the book Generations it speaks some of indian blood. I've checked all the Indian Rolls I can find and don't see any Ledford/Day descendents listed. Does anyone have any more information on possible Indian blood in this line?
