Andrew H. Ledford buried in Helen White Co. Ga

My great grandfather Jasper Newton Ledford, b. 24 May 1880 d. 19 Jan 1960 was from Union Co. Ga.

I have had a time finding his father, and I think I have.

I found Newt in a census record with his father named Rufus.

This could have been a nickname.

Rufus' father is Andrew H. Ledford b. 8 July 1820 d. 31 May 1903.

I am wondering if any of Andrew's family members can verify this connection for me.

Did Andrew have a son named Rufus who had a son named Newt or Jasper Newton Ledford???
