Hello again. I ran a search of Texas deaths to see if any more of Silas’s kids got death certificates. I found four:

Tilitha Lavoise, born May 8, 1852, died at Keller June 5, 1933, wife of Bruno Lavoise.

William M. Ledford, born December 28, 1855. Died Dec. 26, 1928 at Brownwood in Brown County, Texas. Buried in Coleman Cemetery (this may be in Coleman County, Texas). He left a widow.

Mrs. Grier M. Gray, born July 15, 1850. Died in Coleman, Coleman County, Texas on January 31, 1939. Husband survived her. Buried in Coleman Cemetery.

Jefferson D. Ledford, born July 28, 1861, at Bentonville, Ark (per death certificate). Usual address was 1406 N. Clinton in Fort Worth. He died in the state hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas on August 22, 1950, and was buried in Keller in Bourland Cemetery. There’s a lady buried beside him who appears to be his wife: Lizzie R. Ledford 1865-1925.

Also buried at Bourland right beside Telitha Lavoise is one Cynthia O. Ledford, 1868-1954.

If you’re trying to get a list of descendants in Texas, you probably already know about this resource but I’ll pass it on anyway. You have access to all the Texas death certificates before about 1976 on the familysearch.org site from the LDS church. I use it several times each day, and it’s where I got the four above.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can do anything else for you here. Mike Patterson
