I'm glad to see your message. As I've explained before, I have often wondered about this TILLMAN LEDFORD of South Carolina. It seems important to note that THOMAS LEDFORD (1802-1875) b. Burke Co., NC d. Clay Co., NC and spouse ELIZA WATTERS LEDFORD (1809-1877) b. Anderson, Co., SC, d. Clay Co., NC....had a son named TILLMAN C. LEDFORD b. 1840 Macon Co., NC. TILLMAN C. LEDFORD was in the Civil War Co.D, 25 Reg't North Carolina Infantry (State Troops)
He died of a gunshot wound in a Petersburg, Virginia Hospital 23 Aug. 1864.
Were these two TILLMAN LEDFORD'S related?
