Justin,

A tattoo?! Does your mother know about this? (sigh)

Oh well, if you're determined to do it anyway .... Do an internet search for "Associaion des Familles LeDuc". The website is www.geocities.com/Heartland/5063/, but I can't get the site to come up when I enter it directly.

The meaning of the symbols, I'm told, is this (note, this is for the Canadian LeDucs):

4 hearts, one for each family of LeDucs that came to Quebec. The blue hash mark is for the crossing of the Atlantic. The Fleur du Lis is the symbol of France.

Do me (and yourself a favor) ... Make the tattoo a small one; and don't let it get infected.

Good Luck!
