I'm not certain of Samuel's middle name either. It is likely Fenwick, because that was his mother's maiden name and he was the first born of the family. Samuel F. Leebrick's father was Frederick Leebrick, born 1813 in Virginia. His mother was Jane Fenwick, born in 1815 in Virginia. Samuel was born in Richmond, Va on 12 Jan 1843, but by the time he was 18, the family had moved out west, to Howard Co. Missouri, where he appears in the family's 1850 Census listing.
Samuel had a younger sister, Mildred Ann, born in 1846 in Missouri, and a younger brother, John Henry, born in 1851 in Howard Co, Missouri.
Samuel married Mary Francis Humphrey in October of 1873, and I have six children listed for them: Myrtle, b 1874, James b 1876, Rosalee b 1879, Cora b 1880, Minnie b 1883 and Susan b 1893.
What else do you know of Frank W. McDowell? Who were Frank and Rosalee's children, and when and where were they married?
