Ok, Ive been researching my family tree and Henry Hilton Leigh Whitney, born 1832, immigrated from Ros County in Ireland to Chile in 1853, with his half brother John. They then settled in Puira, Peru. Henry Hilton's father was John Holsmby Clark Hilton Leigh, his mother was Elisha Whitney. If you think this is the same Henry Leigh, email me for further information. I cant imagine there were many irish imigrants moving to chile.
