Re: "Louisa Epperson and Fredrick Leininger":
I have a Fred Leininger who emigrated to America in 1837 with his parents Jacob LeiningerII(1787-1861) and Margaretta, nee Schultz(1785-1853) He had 4 brothers: JacobIII, Michael, John and George AND 2 sisters Catherine and Margaret. They landed in Louisiana and moved north to Cincinnati then to Smithville where they lived for 5 1/2 yrs then to Fulton Co., OH...The date of your Fredrick seems in line with this one however in reading many of the entries on this site I see a lot of the same names popping up in different locales at the same time. It appears that the Leiningers re cycled the same names for many generations with little creativity...many cousins had the same names.
