Sandy Lenoir - 1870 Census
Posted by: Richard Spicer, Sr Date: May 27, 2000 at 20:16:52

In the 1870 Census my gggfather Sandy Lenoir age 25 black male, farm laborer and wife Daskey Lenoir age 20 black female, keeping house with three children. The date of enumeration 7/7/1870, Family No. 313, page 37,100, Publication No. M593, County or Parish 15, P.O. Aberdeen. In the 1880 Census it mentions that Sandy's parents were from LA. and Darkus parents were from TN. I'm trying to get some more info prior to 1880 census ( ie chattel records),location of the farm or Plantation.
