Good afternoon Debbie;
My wife's ancestral grandparents were Edmund Jones and Elizabeth Ann Lenoir, daughter of William Lenoir and Ann Ballard.
Edmund Jones parents were George Garnett Jones and Phoebe Foster-Jones. Phoebe Foster's family history goes back to Flanders, France 750AD, where her family (de Flanders) was royalty, one was a Count and one married William the Conqueror, who produced 3 kinds of England...
I have considerable JONES and FOSTER family History for these lines back to Wales 1200s and Flanders 700s.
