Looking for information on this family and possible children born in the area after their marriage on 16 August 1831 at Detroit. I find nothing for them in the 1850 census and yet Francis would not have been that old. He was born in 1814 and his wife in 1812. Their children, if they had any, would have been from about age 18 and down in that census.
What I did find that was interesting was a listing for 5 Page children living with a farmer named Broadstreet S. Hicks and his wife and daughter in Tecumseh, Lenawee, MI. Adelia (Aurelie?) Page age 18, Augusta 16, Catherine 12, Charles 4, and Leander 2, all born MI. They are obviously siblings. Perhaps the Hicks are relatives; it seems unlikely that anyone but a relative would have taken in 5 homeless orphans in those days unless they were related.
In the 1860 census the girls were probably married but the 2 Page sons were still living with the Hicks at Jefferson, Hillsdale, MI.
Does anyone have knowledge of Francis Lepage or Page and his wife Angelique or Angelica Albert? Thank you for any help.
