Thanks for your follow up. I haven't been able to uncover much of any information on the William Liggett I am looking for, but it doesn't seem like these are the same people in your search.
This Wm had two daughters, one named after him, from 1890 to 1896 in Northern Missouri/ southern Iowa area. From there he either died or left, but can't tell which since his death, marriage nor birth are listed at any of the counties in this area. At this point he is an enigma in my search, as is his wife's, Margaret Ragan's, family, but thank you for replying to my post, Paula.
