Dear Joan,
Elisha Lindley b. Bet. 1802-1803 KY. D. 7/27/1832 in Bond Co. IL (at the age of 29) That was on the headstone. He married Elizabeth (Betsey) Gear b. 1/02/1806 KY. D. 9/03/1866. Both are bur. in Wait/Wade cemetery. His probate papers are in box-B in Bond Co. Court House, Bond Co. IL. Administrators of the estate were: Ransom Gear and Elijah Lindley. We don't know who they are. Their children were: Jacob V. b. 9/15/1826, d. 1/12/1868. His guardian was John Kirkland. We don't know who he is. The probate papers on Jacob are in box 22B-B in Bond Co. Court House, Bond Co., IL.He is bur. in Wait/Wade cemetery. Jacob enlisted in Bond Co. as Sargeant in Company D, IL. 3rd Cavalry Regiment. Was dropped from the rolls April 30, 1862, due either to absence or sickness. Never Married. Ransom Jean b. 1/15/1829, Bethel, Bond Co., IL. D. 2/20/1889, Pocahontas, IL. He m. Mary Ann Elizabeth Bigham 8/22/1854 in Montgomery Co., IL . She was b. 10/11/1832 in Washington Co., MD. and died Pocahontas, IL. Both are bur. in Waite/Wade cemetery .I have the obit. if you want it. He was an elected Elder in 1848 of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. We go through this line. Mary Jane m. to John C. Waite . Mary Jane is bur. in Waite/ Wade cemetery.
Ransom and Mary Ann children are: Mary Ann (Mollie) 5/05/1862 Elm Point, Bond Co., IL d. 8/17/1939, Columbus, KS. Naomi Olive 2/02/1865 , d. 10/23/1908, Pocahontas, IL. Hannah (Lizzie)E. b. 7/22/1855, m. James H. Armstrong. Samuel F. Abt. 1856, IL. Alfred Abt. 1858. IL. Minnie C.
