John M Lindly, who kept the ledger book ca 1900, evidently wrote a two volume genealogy ca 1939. Joh M Lindly also made use of records of the First Prebyterian Church Of Morristown, NJ. There was a Bible that he copied information from. It was from Elizabeth Lindsley. (m 1 Shaw 2 Cobb). Her father was a Benjamin (b 1731 d 1815) There was an uncle Ebenezer mentioned, but there seems to be several Ebenezers in the family. At that time the Bible was in the hands of a Sarah Amanda Lindsley of Green Village.

I'm not descended from the Linsleys so I don't have anything worked up on this line. I might be anle to look for specific information in the ledger book.
