Not sure of any relation but, I can trace the Linton family name to Yorkshire, England to approx. 1830. In direct line to me is my father - William Linton b. 1918 - my grandfather James Linton b. 1891 (both were born in Essex County in Ontario) my great grandfather William Linton b. 1859 in Lockton, Yorkshire County, England, my gg gradfather also William Linton b. approx. 1830 also in Yorkshire County, England ...if this is a help, or you can provide some info. for my research, please e-mail back -
