Hi Mike. Thanks for your reply. My branch of the Linvilles lost contact with the family during the 1930s.

I am John K. Linville born in 1944 in California. My father was John T.Linville one of three brothers born to Raymond J. Linville and Mary A.Kelley in St. Joseph Missouri. Raymond was one of Nine children born to John David Linville and Margarit King in 1893. Margarit King claimed to be half Charokee Indian and I am trying to establish this. John David Linville was born to William Linville and Rebecca Thompson. I do not know the date. William had a brother named Joseph called "Blackhawk" because he had fought in the Blackhawk War in Kentucky. That is all that I have. I would like to trace our roots back to the coming to America. Can you help? Thank You.
