This is not my family line, but came across it while checking out connections between my Williams, Turner, Clare connections.

I realize this is an old post and perhaps you have already located this but just in case:

In researching one of my lines I came across some Clare marriages, which I will post as a follow-up. First, does anyone know anything about a marriage between one of Abraham and Sarah's daughter, Sarah R. 10 Aug 1865 and my Thomas J. Livergood (NOT Liverpool, as posted on FamSearch) in Lavaca? Did she die? Did they have a child? He married again on 1 Aug 1867, so something happened.
He was married before to Emily Fisher, and they had 2 kids on the 1860 Lavaca Census. She may have had another child or two before she died - at some point before he married Sarah Clare.
Emily Fisher's family came from Lincoln Co.MO as did Abe, but some time later.(Her mother was an Ezzell). Thomas J. went to TX from St.Charles Co.MO.
A point of confusion on Abe and Sarah Turner: Their first child was Milton S., b. abt 1830,TX. Did they marry on 16 Aug 1828 or 1838 (one posting shows)? They applied for a marriage license on 5 Dec 1837 in Jackson Co.TX but married (when?) in Gonzales, which is now in Gonzales County (during that period, county lines may have changed a lot as a result of the influx of settlers with the DeWitt Colony).

I hope someone can shed some light on all this - especially the Livergood bit, which was a shocker, and may explain some of his mysterious children.
