Frank or Louis or David Lockwood

I am looking for any information that would link Frank Ren Lockwood (b. 1859 i NY) to a Louis Lockwood (married to a Sabrina Robinson or an L. Robinson) I am also trying to discover who Louis's father is...I have a feeling that it may be David Lockwood (who was married to Lydia Crandall) but I have no difinitive evidence.

Family lore says that Frank Ren's father (likely Louis Lockwood) was a traveling Presbytery preacher.
