Vera Lockwood Farley Viles
BATON ROUGE, LA - A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Bossier City, she died at 7:55 am on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Hospice of Baton Rouge Inpatient Unit. She was 84. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St, on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 5 pm until 7 pm with a Memorial Service at 6 pm conducted by the Rev. Andrew J. Merrick.
She is survived by two daughters, Colleen "Kali" Soulier of Baton Rouge and Linda Bowman and husband, Charles, of Mobile, AL; three grandchildren, Cheri Soulier of Youngsville, Shawn Soulier and his wife, Tess, of New Roads, and Brian Bowman of Birmingham, AL; a great-granddaughter, Hailey Grace; one brother, J.H. Lockwood and wife, Larue; three sisters, Jean Rogers, Marene Delaney and Madie Hicks; sister-in-law, Helen Lockwood; and former husband, Dan Farley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Viles; her parents, Clara and Wesley Lockwood; and a brother, Elmer Lockwood.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, October 21 at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Haughton, LA. Hill Crest Memorial
