Our family legend is that the Logee family came from the Lorraine area of France and were Huguenots. There were some Logees who immigrated to America from Germany, apparently having dispersed there when the religious climate became too hostile to Huguenot believers. I have heard from a few people who tell me their Logee ancestors came from Bavaria also, near the Lorraine province. Iwish I knew more to tell you. I wouldn't be surprised to find a link between the two families.
