I am so sorry. I was confused. I was refering to Addie Bunn. I visited her grave in the town of Byron, Ogle Co., IL. The book published in 1928 on the various Bunn families in America was my source on the info. The info I have is all that the book provides. From records I have found on the internet, from 1850-1890 all the census's for Lordens are in the city of Chicago. The oldest (1850) is for a Dennis. It also appears that he fought in the civil war (enlisted in IL) and the name was also spelled "Lordan". I am as stumped as you are as to where the Lordens came from. I would be willing to bet that Edward and Addie's unknown Lorden husband were related. If I should come across any additional info, I'll be sure to pass it on to you.
