Your questions relate to my interest in Christopher Lyerly because he was the ancestor of my grandmother. Yes, he brought Nussman to North Carolina and then Nussman married Lyerly's daughter. Can you trace his descendants? Yes, they were all Palatines who started St. John's Lutheran Church in Cabarrus county in 1745. Nussman did not come until just before the Revolution.
