My G-G-Grandmother, Amelia HOOGERWERF married Constant MAAS in Hoofsplatte Grouch (spelling?) Holland. She was born 13 Dec 1856. Constant was born in 1851. They had at least one child, Emiel A. MAAS born 15 Nov 1886. They later emigrated to Illinois, where Constant died in Sheffield, IL in March of 1922. Amelia died sometime 1936.
Emiel went on to marry an Atkinson, IL girl Amelia VerBaker. She died 19 Dec 1918 in Atkinson; Emiel died 10 May 1957 in Neponset, IL.
