Hi James,
My name is Jim Mabe and I have a Familytreenaker book called the Descendants of William Mabe - First Seven Generations. It's located at: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/m/a/b/James-E-Mabe/BOOK-0001/0000-0001.html
I have in the book the ancestors for Mary Elizath Mabe, the daughter of Joseph Mabe and Oney Martin. This could be your Mary Elizabeth. There is one problem. The Mary Elizabeth in the book married a Jenkins Martin in 1882. This could be an error. They were listed in an earlier book written by Virgina King and Georgia Thomas.
Since you have a marriage license that lists your Mary Elizabeth's parents and the marriage took place in the same county that Joseph and Oney lived there is a distinct possibilty this is your Mary Elizabeth.
I have Reece Lawson and Elizabeth Mabe listed in the book but have no parents for Elizabeth. Use the index on the page to go directly to the individual famlies. I suggest that you key on either Reece Lawson or Oney Martin.
