All were from Stokes Co., NC.
Mabe, Beckie (Rebecca Elizabeth Mabe) was born in December, 1886. Her parents were Edward and Mary Mabe (Mary was Edward's third wife). Beckie had the following children:
1). JAMES LEFFORD7 MABE, b. November 09, 1887; d. November
26, 1973, Stokes County, North Carolina.
2). BURLEY ANDERSON MABE, b. June 28, 1894, North
Carolina; d. May 22, 1948, Danbury Township, Stokes
County, North Carolina.
3). JONAH F. MABE, b. September 27, 1901, North Carolina;
d. July 07, 1974, Stokes County, North Carolina
4). JETTIE FLORENCE MABE, b. September 05, 1903, North
Carolina; d. September 09, 1978, Davidson County,
North Carolina;
Jettie was my grandmother. I'm trying to find out who the father of Beckie's children was. I believe the same man fathered all four children but am having huge difficulties finding his identity. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
