David, I'd like to thank you again for your responses to my inquiries. I didn't know about the Melungeon. That might be the connection I am looking for. All I know is that Arminda looked like a full blooded indian. My mother remembers her. My grandfather, Gale, looked like he had a lot of indian in him as well. I myself look like I have it. I have black hair, very dark skin, the high cheekbones. Something is in our blood. I'd really love to find out more. So, once again, any help is appreciated and, thank you again for your help.
