Here is a census record for 1880 that might contain your Martha.

CENSUS YR: 1880 STATE or TERRITORY: TN COUNTY: Hancock TOWNSHIP: None NA FILM NUMBER: T9-1259 PAGE: 264C
Lucinda MABE Other Single Female White Age: 25 Birthplace: TN Occupation: Housekeeper Parents Birthplace: TN TN

Martha MABE Other Single Female White Age: None Listed Birthplace: Tennessee Living At Home Parents Birthplace: TN TN

I assume since no age is listed that Martha was born in 1880. I assume that Lucinda is Martha's mother. In 1880 they were enumerated with James Nichols. I think Lucinda is the daughter of William Mabe who was living in Hancock County in 1880.
