G.H Petty who was living with the Mable family in the 1860 Cobb Co. Georgia Census was my 2nd great grandfather. His name was George Henry Petty. I am also curious to find out why George and four of his siblings were living with the Mables. Their ages ranged from 8 - 1. Only 3 of them were of school age to attend the school on the Mable property, but on the census it states that they did not attend school within the year. Two of them were only 3 & 1. I was wondering if you found out the reason that they were living with the Mables.
